Rules of the Game

We would like to propose to use a light version of "the five great vows" of the Jain as a starting point:

1. Ahimsa; non-violence
2. Satya; always speak your truth (unless in conflict with 1)
3. Asteya; don't steal
4. Aparigraha; don't get too attached to material stuff

The fifth vow, Brahmacharya  (celibacy), everyone has to decide for themselves. For Inspire we would like to suggest celebration.

A few things to mention:

Beauty
Needless to say, the Velder Estate shows all of its beauty when everyone keeps it clean (and it helps us to reduce cleaning expenses).

Silence
To keep the peace on the camping site, we kindly request everyone to be quiet between midnight and 8 am (so you can better hear the music until 3 am...).  Since the family camping site will also have young children present, it would be nice if this camping site is quiet after 10 pm.

Music (on the camping site)
Amplified music is not allowed on the camping site, but we do invite you to bring your own (acoustic) musical instruments.

Nature and forest
There are beautiful landscaped paths through the old forest that borders the estate. The forest is not accessible between sunset and sunrise and you are not allowed to deviate from the paths. We hope to be able to offer guided tours through the forest.

Pets
Pets are not allowed on the festival area and camping site. If you have an assistance dog, please let us know in advance by email, stating your name and address. You will then receive a confirmation letter containing all information.

Photos/Film/Audio
Photography and filming are allowed. When you are a professional, you will need permission from us. Please share your pictures with us by email or by social media.

Smoking
Smoking is allowed on both the camping site and the festival area. Please dispose of the butts in the appropriate bins/ashtrays. However, by law smoking is not allowed inside the tents on the festival area or in the catering areas.

Open Fire
Due to fire hazard it is not allowed to build your own (camp) fire. If you do want to enjoy an open fire, feel free to join us at one of the campfires (provided we get approval from the fire department, of course).
