Inspire Festival: Healthy Food
Inspire Festival is all about a healthy mind in a healthy body. The lectures and workshops at Inspire are aimed at persons who are open to other ways of thinking and who want to enrich their mind. That is why the festival has chosen to offer its visitors (mostly) biological and healthy meals, snacks and drinks.
Ekoplaza, the largest biological supermarket in the Netherlands, is one of the festival’s partners and will build a complete biological restaurant for the weekend of 5-7 July. Visitors will be able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with sandwiches, cereals, juices, biogarde yoghurt and omelettes. The comprehensive lunch will also include a selection of salades and soups. For dinner there will be Italian and Indian dishes, with a choice between biological wines, soft drinks and beer.

The festival terrain will also be filled with several rolling kitches each bringing their own specialty to the table. Eco Pizza prepares artisanal and fresh pizzas on the spot in their mobile wood-fired oven. Those who prefer home-made biological fries with biological mayonnaise, are welcome to visit Friethoes. An authentic Indonesian kitchen will be run by the Hernandez family, who donate their revenues to the Indonesian village where they originated.

Burger-lovers are spoiled at Inspire with the Dutch Weed Burger, which is a 100% plant-powered hamburger in an algae-sandwich with vegan mayonnaise, umami wakame salsa and seaweed. Kok au Van makes burgers which are produced locally with special regard to animals and their surroundings.

Inspire also offers a wide selection of drinks: Yoos Koffie has worldly coffee with home-made cakes and pastry. Acai, in its turn, brings a diverse collection of healthy and exotic fruit juices.
